In 2006, the Firm
was founded by Ms. Marshall and Mr. Lewis.
 Ms. Marshall has handled hundreds of cases, including over a hundred
jury verdicts. In recent years, on over a dozen matters, Ms. Marshall has worked as
“the lawyers’ lawyer,” having been chosen by other lawyers and firms to
represent them in substantial matters.
Ms. Marshall is a graduate of the University
of Texas Law School. She is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law, and was the
first female trial lawyer admitted as a partner at Baker Botts. Each year she
has been named as a Texas Super Lawyer by Law and Politics magazine. Time Magazine named her as one of
the Top Five Women Trial Lawyers in America. She has been honored by admission
as a Fellow of The American College of Trial Lawyers and The American Board of
Trial Advocates.

Mr. Lewis has extensive experience handling cases for
businesses and individuals in the energy, real estate, construction, financial
and manufacturing industries. Mr. Lewis handles complex commercial cases
involving contract, fraud, personal injury, environmental and other claims.
A native of Texas, Mr.
Lewis graduated from Princeton
University, where he
majored in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Upon
graduating from Harvard Law School with honors in 1983, he joined Baker Botts
L.L.P., where he became a partner in 1991. He co-founded Marshall & Lewis LLP in
2006 and is involved with numerous civic and professional organizations.
